Tongwei Solar, based in southwestern China, entered the PV market in 2006 and has grown into a fully integrated PV enterprise, covering the entire industry chain. It is the first PV manufacturer listed in the Fortune Global 500. Tongwei leads globally in polysilicon production with an over 900,000-ton capacity and has topped global solar cell shipments for nine years, with an over 140 GW production capacity. In late 2022, Tongwei entered the module business and ranked 5th in global shipments in both 2023 and 2024, with a capacity of 90+ GW. Tongwei serves clients in over 70 countries with modules for various scenarios.
